Condoleezza Rice visits Liverpool
This picture pretty much sums up today’s protests at Condoleezza Rice’s visit to Liverpool with her UK opposite number Jack Straw. Demonstrations took place along Hope Street, outside the Institute of Performing Arts (where I’m a student and I’m ashamed to say Condi was welcomed today), aswell as in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral, as seen here.
And to the person with the “Fab four, not war” sign: I’m sure it was well intentioned, but that’s not exactly the choice we’re being offered!
